In The Rush
THERE will be several rushes during the Otahuhu ■ meeting. Rushes for trams, trains, boats and booths, while it is hoped that all the drivers will rush their candidates to be first home. But all these rushes will be nothing m comparison to the scramble there will be to plaster the £. s. d. on Laplander, Trustworthy, Jackie Audubon, Free Advice, Firelight, Great Peter, Shaw's elect and Raima. Then it is predicted that there will be a rush to the pay-out pigeon holes. If most of these fail to click, then there will be a rush to the pawn-brokers.
