Nedda Follows In Footsteps

Her first foal, bon Jose, is just fair, but he has won on the course. That was at the Cup meeting twelve months back when he won the race for three- year- olds. Now on Monday another of the old mare's stock has opened her account on the same track. This is Nedda, a filly by Paper Money. She won the two-year-old handicap and won m interesting style. Nedda is held on lease from her owner by "Budge" Irwin. . He leased her one evening during the progress of the last Dunedin Cup meeting. "Budge" when he went out that evening had no idea of leasing a horse, but he went home with one.
