SHOW THE WAY
Wrackler Will Be
Big Winner
(From "N.Z. Truth's" Auckland Rep.) Wrackler's Derby win was no fluke, so the few. who calculated him lucky; m that "classic" have now another think coming. THE gelding proved this when he 1 carted them along m the Remuera Handicap, for he stepped out boldly over the two miles and was only pipped on the post on the second day. Nicolls' three-year-old went" under to a good sort m Sunfish.. But it was only by half a head and the difference m the ages was pr,obal?ly the deciding factor. When it is considered that they wound the watch up to 4:35 1-5 and 4.36 2-5 respectively, Sunfish from a 4.42 mark and Wrackl'er from 4.43, theirs was a performance of merit. The Derby winner looks to have a mortgage on three -year -old events to be decided this season. , They were easily the most promising young pacers seen out m Auckland for some time. '
