Baynut Will Be In
The Boom
(By "The Toff.")
Baynut unwound a strong finishing run to win the Visitors' Handicap at, the Methven meeting on Saturday.
DATNUT has raced very consistently this season so far, having secured five places recently. His win with his owner, T. H." McGirr, m the sulky was well received.
The favorite, Dundas Boy, looked a pjobable winner a furlong from home where he made a break and did not recover his balance.
Our Bird whisked away m the lead with Nipper, Guy Fawkes and Dick Logan. handy.
Of the others Warepa, Mac Dillon, Pundas Boy and Baynut were going best. ... • .
At the turn for home, Dundas Boy swooped down on the leaders, but he went into the air. Finally Baynut ran past Our Bird to win rather easily.
