THERE is hardly a sport m Auckland —if, indeed, any— who is not acquainted with Frank Adeane, who has taken a prominent part m fostering the cult of "the great outdoors" m the Queen City for many years past.But Adeane is about to break out m another place. This time he intends to have a go at politics, arid has been announced as the Reform candidate who will endeavor to unseat M. J. Savage, , Labor, member for Auckland West, at "the coming elections. Adeane is still a bright young fellow of 42 years and . most of his life has been spent m Auckland. He is a keen, debater, and' possesses a sense of humor that can usually raise a smile. Swimming, cruising, . and : football were his pastimes m his younger days, and he looks after the secretarial end of the Auckland Football Association and the Competitions Society. Something of . a hustler, : Frank is looking for a chance to put some pep into Parliament. It is certainly needed !
