She has some pace. * * # Her owner-trainer has been qualifying Gold Rep at the hunts. The St. Amana mare jumps very confidently. *" # # Prodice is going to be ready early ln the season. Being by Catmint, she is right for the soft going. # #■• ' • Athenry has been popped pver a few jumps of recent times, but Is some way from ready. # • # A two-year-old full-brother to White Comet (Day Comet — Lady Frisco) has joined Tinker's stable. He is a solid and well-balanced colt. * # # Transformer is begihning to put some zest into his tasks. The Thurn- ' ham gelding is worth many a young ! one even yet. * # # Waipa made £342 profit last 1 year. The Te Awamutu club badly wants an extra permit. What ohance? • # #' "Dicky" Edwards, has Flying Juliet moving along nicely. The Romeo mare will be m action towards the end 1 of the month. ! * * * Always shapes like one which will take readily to the- hurdling game. The chestnut is a bit small, though. # # # Paganelli is pegging away freely on the tracks at Te Rapa. He may get a longer journey this season. * * *' Ramblin' Kid has been working as if he meant it of late weeks. The Wlnterbourne hurdler' has a lot to work off the debit. # # » Tea Time gathered m some good chips last season and the Te Aroha galloper will do it some more. # * * "Bert" Tinker is working Prairie King for two-year-old events. The juvenile is a stockily-built bay by King Nassau from the San Fran mare, Arizona Maid, and he gallops very determinedly.
