INCREASED speeds, use of cars over virgin tracks, and demands' for greater safety and" comfort have directed attention to the need for each wheel to be independently sprung— to be able to rise and fall entirely on its own, without consideration for what the other wheels are doing. In conjunction with this development designers are realizing that each front wheel should be steered separately from Its fellow.: Possibly these features In design will characterize rha,ny 1929 models, and, when generally adopted, will mark a great step forward m the technical perfection of the motor-car.
