In classics and big handicaps, Roy rode eleven" winners to the seven ereditediTom. Reed was on the winners of the Hawkes Bay Guineas, the A.R.C. Handicap, the Wellington Gup, the Taranaki Stakes, the Thompson Handicap, the Trentham Gold Cup, the Great Northern St. Leger, the Awapuni Gold Cup, the Manawatu Stakes, the Hawkes Bay Stakes and the Hawkes Bay Cup. » Green was successful m the A.R.C. Welcome Stakes, the Pearce Handicap, the New Zealand Derby, the Auckland Cup, the Royal Stakes, the Takapuna Cup and the New Zealand St. Leger. On eleven occasions Green was on the second horse when Reed rode the winner, and, nine times did Roy run second to Green.
