THEY'RE BEING DEALT WITH
: (By Cable.— ]?rom "N.Z. Truth's" Special Sydney Representative.) ANkY two New Zealand horses raced at RosehiM on Saturday—First V Acre and Tea Miss. Both were beaten, but both may have won • had all things been equal, . First Acre got a bad gruelling m the Flying Handicap and interference spoilt an excellent winning chance. He finished strongly m seventh ■'■' place m a big field. . ' • ' Following so closely on the severe buffeting Fjrst Acre receivea at Canterbury a week earlier indications are that the gelding was da- , ; liberately dealt with. . T ' Tea Miss was also robbed of her chance by interference. She . was knocked back when running seventh m the Nursery and badly pocketed at the turn, yet ran on strongly into third place at the end. Tea Miss was heavily backed and a victory for her would have taken a big sum from the bookmakers!
