TJOCKEY one, ''shinny two—and off IT they go. The clatter of the ashstieks is music to the ears of Jimmy Hogg, beacon light of the Otago Hockey Association. But apart from his efforts on behalf of the popular stick game, jimmy is a giant of manufacture. His meteoric rise to the top of the tree comprises one of the romances of secondary industry m the Dominion. He is rightly proud of the fact that he has risen from the humble, but essential, position of office boy to the managership of McLeod Brothers (Ltd.), soap manufacturers, of Dunedtn, for his liberal endowment of brains and organizing ability has been devoted to the cause of' dispelling Monday regrets from the humdrum existence of housewives who still prefer to do their own washing. Jimmy Hogg does not dazzle you with his radiant personality, but his rock-like solidarity is impressive. No fast and loose methods for him; he wants to see reason for action and value for moneys
