Wire Wheels
AMERICA is rapidly awakening " to the superior qualities of the wire wheel compared with the wooden artillery wheel. Last year the number of carfitted with wire wheels m America numbered three times as many as m 1926, and the same tendency is noted this year. With the ever-increasing scarcity and value of second -growth hickory, it is not impossible to visualize a time within the next seven years when wooden wheels will be a rarity on new cars.
