ARE pyjamas a luxury, habit or necessity? Pell Humberstone, of Auckland, says they are a- habit — and in his mind, a very expensive one at that. "I never wear 'em, I got rid of that silly habit years ago!" he told. Magistrate Hunt the other day, when explaining how he was accustomed to being a week-end guest at the Hobson Hotel without the 1 encumbrances of luggage. That his relations with whom he lived kept pious the Sabbath by* never missing church, he held as '■■ the reason for his weekly pilgrimages to the House of Bacchus.
