REMEMBER HIM

DRANSON'S score of successive vietories were well and truly stopped at Takapuna. There two fourths .were recorded. He was top-weight on both occasions and was hardly suited by the turning nature of the track. This fact, the weight he carried, and the knowledge that he was fairly close up at the end each day, it may be well to remember when he is again stepped out.

WALTER RAYNOR informed "N.Z. Truth" at Feilding that his quartet for Ellerslie would be Thaw, Mask, Lysander and Episode. Not a bad bunch, either.
