"Full House " Hamer
FULLERS' have done a lot for New Zealand m that they have given first-class entertainment to the ordinary mortal. With the passing of years, the phenomenal growth of the Fuller circuit has resulted m many a world-famous artist being attracted to its boards. However, let us not tarry too long on the subject of Fullers'. It is Jonn Hamer, manager of Fullers* Princess Theatre, Dunedin, whom we would fain discuss. John Hamer has been so long- with Fullers' that the year of his appointment is now far away m the mists of antiquity. Right from the time when "Two Little Girls m Blue" was distinctly modern, John has kept the box-office receipts up to a healthy and —let us be sordid—a profitable level. He has made the Princess a family resort for entertainment, and its popu-" larity, like that of the genial John, seems to increase with the passing of years. No matter what other attractions may be featuring m Dunedin, John Hamer's theatre always draws a full complement. In consequence, John's sleep is sweet and tranquil.
