LOCH MOIGH

A Horse With A Future

(From "N.Z. Truth's" Special Auck-

land Rep.)

If the Nelson Derby horse Loch Molgh fails to reaoh first-class company, then quite a lot of critics will have to admit making a serious mistake. LIE was never doing his real best to n win the Stewards' Handicap mile and a-half from a 3.28 mark m 3.26 2/6.

Just what he could have gone that day had he been seriously pushed it would be interesting to know.

Some track-watchers claim that he finished up the last half-mile of his work one morning before the fixture m 1.4.

"N.Z. Truth" believes that the Manawatu candidate will go that on a fast track.

He is a gross customer, like many other stallions, and was probably above his best last Saturday.

Look out for him m a big handicap on the trip.

The big event at Waikato may

be within his grasp if he is num-

bered among the starters.

His great record of the past will certainly be improved upon if nothing unforeseen happens along.
