ANYWHERE where there are ladies' stockings you will find him, silently' critical.' Harry Nunnerly may be only the average man, but stockings are his business. * . . He believes m having two legs m the commercial double — or, rather, he believes that the commercial "double" so ardently to be desired are his particular brand of hosiery. You are apt to come against PI.N. a.nywhere m Christchurch or Dunedin. You will know him by his twinkling blue eyes — essentially the eyes of the confirmed humorist. He will be working m terms of ladies' stockings. H.N. is an Englishman by birth; New Zealander by adoption. His hobbies? Well, what are the hobbies of the average man? He is an average man. He weeds a good garden and he may think he wields a good tennis racquet, although — alas! he does not. Nunnerly has a warm spot m his heart for the man down under, has a streak of .that fine sincerity which make 3 him trusted -rand has many friends. .
