Trainers Capture Doubles (From "N.Z. Truth's" Special Auckland Rep.) In more ways than one doubles were noticeable m connection with the Waikato fixture at Te Rapa. MOT only were Avon Court and Frisco Jack responsible for double victories, but Trainer Ernie George pulled off the big winning double of opening day with Mint Leaf and Oration. Besides this, J. W. Cathro, the Paeroa mentor, led m the winners of both divisions of the Trial Plate (Miss Potoa and Auriculus). The Te Aroha trainer, A. E. Cok, provided the winners of both hack events on the final day — Taurimu and Rarakau, both of which are owned by J. McNicol.
