ILOTT OF ILOTTS'
JOHN MOODY ALBERT ILOTT— aII these nice names were tagged on, m early and innocent childhood, to the man who now stands .at the head of J, Ilott, Ltd., Publicity House, Wellington. J. Ilott, Ltd., is, perhaps, the largest advertising agency m New Zealand, and has the distinction of being one of the most important publicity firms, both m numbers of staff and m volume of business, m the British colonies and Dominions. Ilott is a busy man; but, wise m his generation, he has attracted to his offices men who delight m taking the work, and, if need be, the blame. They must be very well satisfied, however, because a resignation m the Ilott establishment is as rare as snow at Christmas-time. The sordid pastime of building a bank account does not absorb the whole of Ilott's time. It is said that he has a collection of etchings which are a tribute to his taste and to his discriminating eye. Further, he is "someone" m the Rotary Club. When a business man is a-Rotarian and a lover of fine etchings, there's not much wrong with him.
