DON DOES
NOTHING- of the Don Juan about Don McK. Sandman, of Christchurch. Neither does the deserty sound of his surname have anything to do with beachcombing or hamsandwiches. . Sandman is the nominal epitome of that branch of life favorably known as sport. Ex-New Zealand rep. cricketer, he even did the trip to South Africa with the well-known Army team; keen-as-mustard footballer and worthy, it ia said, of an All Black jersey had his aspirations moved in that direction. Don is one of the moderately small men who can wallow in the sunshine of his reflected popularity. A good sparring partner for any venture Into the world of sport, whether with gun, rod or line, Don S. makes a happy week-ender. Keen and capable fisherman and quite able to bait you with a piece of good humor, he is well up on all the latest "fiction."
