MONEY IN HIM
Paganelli Will Prove The Goods (From "N.Z. Truth's", Special Aucte- . land Rep.). True to boom was Paganelli, when, m his opening engagement as a three-year-old, the son of i Lord "Quex- Ringdove, fought; out a ' gallant finish with the speedy Aussie m the open six furlongs at Ellerslie on Saturday last. LIE went under toy a neck only, but *■* fought out every inch of the struggle. Paganelli, on this display, threatens to win over more than sprint courses. It was somewhat surprising to find him served up the actual, favorite, for he had not even been sprinted at headquarters on arrival. However, it seemed to be common property that he had been reeling off furlongs at Te Rapa at a very fast clip and his two-year-old promise was also taken into account. He was certainly unfortunate m bumping such ■ a speedy customer as Aussie, but it will not be long before Mick Carroll leads him m a victor. The future can be viewed with optimism. There is money m him.
