THOUGH Jorrocks is no more—is, m fact, unknown to most of the present petrol generation--there is still a pack of hounds to be found here and there, that of Auckland being the Pakuranga Hunt, which Ygives those who still straddle the pigskin an opportunity to emulate to the best of their, 'ability the cross-country exploits of their forefathers. As master of the hounds, H. Bullock Webster; it goes without saying, is one of the most enthusiastic members of the hunt, and a man-'- who knows more about the power and points .of a horse than the horse-power of a'car.
