HEADY PORTER
ONE of the "Cliffs" m Wellington which it is not advisable, to fall . over is Cliff G. Porter, whose name gets'-you thinking at once of footballs and All Black jerseys and things like that. No sporting review would be com-
plete without the recollection of. the All Blacks' memorable tour. Cliff G. Porter was '. the captain of that history-making team. A 1 regular battler to the last ditch, C.G.P. not only uses his brawn but his brain, and has these, vital factors well -controlled m the field. The New Zealand
team to' Australia also enjoyed his captaincy, and it is a well-known fact that m Wellington . Athletic. Football Club he is the "Captain and the crew of the-Nancy Lee." Pleasant, chap' by nature, wellbalanced disposition, and a favorite with the young dreamers of the next All Black tour,; he gets plenty of joy out of Hying.
