Autumn Meeting

The abridged "programme for the Autumn meeting of the Marlborough Racing Club will be found m this issue. The meeting is to be held on Friday and Saturday, May G and 7. The stakes have been increased by £240, compared with the Autumn meeting last year. It will be noticed that there is a maiden race each day, and this should attract a good entry,, as they are open to horses of all ages. The AA r aterlea Cup, 1% miles, is worth 250 soys, to which will be added a silver cup presented by Mr. R. McCallum, M.P. There is an open sprint and an open welter, also two hack races, and two trotting events each day. Nominations for all events must be m the hands of Secretary E. J. Harvey by Thursday, April 14.
