THE MASTERTON MEETING.
The Spring meeting of this club will be held next Thursday and Friday. Good acceptances have been received, and the meeting should be a very interesting one. The attention of owners and trainers is drawn to the fact that the club has erected the most up-to-date loose-boxes on its course at Opaki, and those wishing to secure loose-boxes must forward their application wfth a fee of £1. Accomodation has" also been provided for trainers and jockeys, and those requiring same must, when applying for boxes, forward- a fee ot 20s for trainers and 20s for jockeys which amount will cover one week or fraction thereof. The cottage has been placed m charge ot a married couple, and the best of accommodation is now obtainable. The secretary, Mr A. Hathaway, notifies that money will be received for investment un till 11.30 a.m. on Ihe morning of each race day. Passengers by the mail train can , aJifcjit at the racecourse gates;
