ELITE SKATING RINK.

Mr Peter Ross has not spared expense, m his endeavors to make the fancy, and poster dress carnival he is promoting, and which is to eventuate next Thursday, at the big Ingestrcstreet rink, a first-class social function. The enterprising manager has advertised largely and everything points to a successful issue, a izreat demand having already set un on the theatrical costumiers and fashionable dressmakers. To judge by the patronage accorded to the rink, daily and nightly, a large nu>m.ber of Wellington's bonnie lasses and brave lads are m training for Thursday night's event. Prizes are to be awarded for the neatest and most graceful lady and gentleman skater, and- for the best poster fancy dress.
