IWAIMAK RAFT TRAGEDY
MISSING BODY DISCOVERED. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, December 1. Late yesterday afternoon a man’s body was discovered in the Waimak-
ariri river-bed in the .vicinity of Woodstock by a farmer. Tho remains are believed to be those of John S. Shannon, who was one of the victims of the raft accident on tho Waimakariri last August, when two young men were drowned.
