Tlie proposed tennis match between Miss Helen Wills and Mademoiselle Suzanne Lenglen has apparently been abandoned because Mademoiselle Lenglen’s manager, Mr Charles Pyle, declared that he and Mademoiselle Lenglen must be given a portion of the receipts. Miss Wills stated that she was willing to play. The United States Lawn Tennis Association was willing t\> permit her to do so, provided that neither contestant profited.
