At the inquest on the deaths of the Milton family at Tenterfield, the coroner found that the wife and three children were murdered by Milton, and that he committed suicide. At the inquest, a girl gave evidence that on the day before the tragedy she and her father had an interview with Milton. She told him he was the father of her child, which was born on November sth, and that she was going to take proceedings against him. Milton denied everything. He was very nervous and trembling.
