NEW WELL TO BE DRILLED AGREEMENT WITH BRITISH COMPANY. TVr T*.ti^n NEW PLYMOUTH, November 30. At tho second annual ordinary general meeting of shareholders of Taranaki Oilfields, Ltd., held nt Melbourne yesterday, itr was announced by the chairman, the Right Mon. W. A. Watt, that the company was proceeding drill a well near Okoke (in Taranaki) on a structure highly appraised by the company's geologists. Ho also stated that, subject to the settlement of terms in detail, an agreement, was being entered into with a powerful British oil corporation with a view to securing *ts co-operation in developing the Dominion's oil resources. The meeting approved of an niter, to both classes of share option holder-3. *o extend tho date of option by eighteen months for a pnvment of Is Gd share, payable on February 2Ktb, 1027.
