MANAGER WILL BE PAID MORE TO ENABLE HIM TO TRAVEL. Australian and N Z. Cable Association. (Received November 30, 8.15 p.m.) LONDON, November 30. It is authoritatively stated that the reorganisation scheme for the Pacific Cable Board is dependent upon co-or-dinating legislation being adopted by Britain, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Meanwhile, the board is considering raising the proposed new manager’s salary to an amount considerably above the authorised £IOOO a year. This would enable him to visit Canada, Australia and New Zealand at least once a year.
