TOBACCO EXHIBITION CURIOS
One of the wonders of the recent North of England Tobacco Exhibition, at Manchester, was a 23in pipe made of the largest piece of meerschaum in the world. Another interesting exhibit was a hookah for cigar and cigarette, made of beaten silver and gold, and valued at £l5O. It was destined for the Maharajah of Patiala.
