HISTORIC SYDNEY CHURCH TO BE DEMOLISHED FINAL SERVICES HELD. By Telegraph.—Press Aasn. —Copyright, SYDNEY, November 29. The final services at the historic Scots Church, Churoh Hill, which is being demolished to make way for the City Railway, were held yesterday. The church was founded by Dr John Dunmore Lang, and the first service was held in July, 1826. Amongst prominent Presbyterians from far and near who were present were the daughter of Dr Lang and representatives of the other four ministers who, during the century, have served the church. While the service was in progress the University Scouts Regimental Band assembled outside ana played the “Colin Campbell Lament.”
