OUTBREAK OF FIRE

TWO HOUSES DAMAGED At 7.2 a.m. yesterday the Fire Brigade received a call to an outbreak of tiro at No. 21, Carrington street, Newtown. The house was a fiveroomed wood and iron private residence, owned by John Patterson, and occupied by Mrs Lily Elizabeth Goldwater. Mrs Goldwater’s contents were not insured, but those of Mr Patterson, were insured in the Ocean Insurance Company for £250. The contents received severe damage from lire and water. The brigade were also required to ; attend the house next door, No. 19, a five-roomed wood and iron dwelling, owned and occupied by John Breen. | The building was insured for £BOO in the Phoenix Insurance Company, and the contents for £3OO in the United Insurance Company. Damage was done by fire and water to two rooms at the roar of the building.
