The “Daily Express” correspondent in Paris says that when Queen Marie arrives from America on Tuesday she will interview Prince Carol, and than go on to Bucharest, where King Ferdinand is on the eve of a serious operation. He is already weak, owing to haemorrhage. There are possibilities of a grave dynastic crisis. Queen Marie may be appointed Regent till the crisis passes. Meanwhile, detectives continuously guard Prince Carol’s home in Paris.
According to a report via Berlin, the King’s condition is hopeless. He is attacked by cancer, and an- operation will be performed immediately the Queen returns.
BERLIN, November '27. The Telegraph Agency repeats that King Ferdinand is sinking. He is reduced to a skeleton.
The agency adds that the authorities are striving to prevent Queen Marie and Prince Carol meeting at Paris, by whisking the Queen direct to Bucharest from the ship. Meanwhile, the operation on the King is being delayed, pending Marie’s arrival.
