DEARER SUGAR
(Special to “Times.”) AUCKLAND. November 28. An increase of 25s a ton in the price of raw and refined sugar is announced by the Colonial Sugar Refinery Company, and thn increase is to take effect to-morrow, and brings the wholesale price of No. 1A or table sugar to £25 a ton. The present increase is the third within three months. In Noi'emher last year the wholesale price was £22 a ton. or £6 10s a ton below tho price at tho beginning of that year. Tho company also announces increases in the prices of goldon syrup and treacle.
