The Public Orator, in the customary Latin speech, referred to the Prime Minister’s boyhood, when lie drove cattle with the same patience and courage that ho exhibited later in guiding a human flock. b'ir Ernest and Lady Rutherford entertained Mr Conics ami his party, and also 30 Now Zealand students.
