DAISY SONG Miss Daisy tucks her hair away. Within her bonnet white and neat — The bees and butterflies all say That she looks very, very sweet. The sunbeams shine with golden rav— The glad rain falls upon her head. M iss Daisy lifts her heart away, Until her happy day has fled. For when the summer sunbeams die, And brown-winged beetles softly i pass, ! Miss Daisy shuts her golden eye. And slumbers in the meadow grass. (By Andrew Drummond, aged 10 years.)
