ULSTER NOT AFFECTED
BY CONSTITUTIONAL CHANGE ASSURANCES GIVEN. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, November 24. The Home Secretary, Sir \V. Joyn-son-Hieks, states that the proposed change in the King’s title does not affect Northern Ireland’s existing constitutional status, nor her position either in relation to Great Britain or the Free State. Tho title does not define the political units composing the Empire, but is merely a geographical definition of the territories of which His Majesty is King. Suggestions that the change in title gives the Free State authority to act for the whole of Ireland are groundless.
