RUGBY IN NEW SOUTH WALES

DOMINION HELP APPRECIATED. “During my stay in Sydney,” said Or. McEvedy, “i was’ introduced to Mr V. Horniman, who is a keen Rugby enthusiast and chairman of tlie management committee of the New South Wales Rugby Union. Last year was a very successful year with them, and Rugby is coming back into its own again in New South Wales. They appreciate the help New Zealand has given them, and Mr Horninian is hoping shortly to arrange a conference between the New Zealand and New South Wales bodies to discuss matters of mutual interest. Although I could not speak officially, I informed him that I was sure the New Zealand Union would always be ready to assist in any advancement of the game in both countries.
