ADDITIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS. Per Press Association. HAWERA, November 25. People’s day at the Egmont Show was marred b.v heavy rain showers, nevertheless, there was a large attendance. The additional championships are: — Clydesdales: Entire. Moore Hunter Estate. Light harness horses: Stallion, T. Carson (Havers) ; mare, C. Goodson (Hawern); harness, B. Agent (To Popo). Pony. W. J. McDonnell (Castlecliff). Dairy classes: Tho Wanganui Fresh Food and Ice Company’s Cup was won by IV. P. Wallace (Waverley), for dairy cow, any breed, judged on dairy type. The Hawera Dairy cup for best heifers in exhibition. G. H. 801 l (Oakura). Champion dairy cow, R. Z Horn (Oliau). Pony classes for school children, which figured for the first time in the catalogue, and attracted large entries, created much interest, and was one of the features of tho show.
