CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS?. Per Press Association. WHANGAREI, November 20. The Whangarei A. and P. Jubilee Show commenced yesterday in fine weather. There is a record number of entries in every class save in the home industries section. The principal championships are: Jersey bull, C. O’Callaghan: Jersey cow, Dr Walker; Hereford bull and cow, George Smith; milking Shorthorn bull and cow. F. G. Long. Friesian bull and cow. Hobson Farms, T,td.: Ayrshire bull, Nutsford; cow, J T. Wilson ; Southdown ram and ewe. R. and G. Coates; Corriedalee, Lamb Bros. The pig championships were won by E. J. Rogers. The Hon. 0. J. Hnwkon is among the visitors.
