GREATLY INCREASED RETURNS. The Rangitikei Plains Dairy Company are paying out for the month of October no less than £14,703, plus a bonus of over £BOOO, the output of butter for the month being tons, an increase on the corresponding month last year of 45 per cent. This factory is now turning out six tons of butter per day against five tons per day last year. The average grade being maintained is over 93 points. The Opouriao Company payout also shows an increase on the same period last year, the quantity of production being a2O per oent. increase, the payout for October amounting to over £4OOO. Both the Tarawera and the Nukuhou factories show a marked increase in output over the corresponding period last year, and a greater total of cash payout in spite of the reduced prices obtaining for the produce. The outpiit of the Hinuera Cooperative Dairy Company for this season so far shows a remarkable increase, no fewer than 521 boxes, or nearly 31 per cent., " more being manufactured in October alone. The total increase for the new season over the corresponding period of last year is 23.18 per cent. The Sunny Bark (Te Poi) Co-opera-tive Dairy Company’s payout for October supplies will be Is per lb butterfat for cheese and lid per lb for butter. The company works a dual plant.
