THEATRE DE LUXE
"THE MIDNIGHT SUN.” A dancing girl with the great of a nation at her feet is the heroine of "The Midnight Sun,” now playing at the Theatre De Luxe. It is a dramatic picture story of life in Russia in 1913. Laura La Plante is the dancing girl and as such heads an imposing all-star cast. The story is laid in Russia and reflects all the lavish life of the nobles of the period when the Czars ruled. The Imperial Russian Ballet as it was at the height of its magnificence and when a gala performance would attract one of the most brilliant assemblages in the world, is reproduced in this picture. Among the other "principals are Pat. O’Malley, Raymond Keane, George Siegmann and many, others.
A news and comedy are to be seen in support, with appropriate orchestral music. *
