Iho Imperial Conference's report rc"nn.ling Antarctic policy specifically indicates that Wilkes Land, the area ue,t of Adeiio Land which was discovered by an Australian expedition in 1012, as being British by virtue of lisooverv. Iho “Daily News” points out that the significance of the decision lies in the fact that Franco made a claim to the area last year.
