LECTURE TO MOTORISTS
SPARKING PLUG. A large gathering of motorists assembled at Hope Gibbons’ Buildings,' Dixon street, at the invitation of Mr C. A. Sneers, who is touring the world to explain to motorists the manufacture and functioning of spark-plugs. Cinema filmß amply explained the various processes of manufacture, notably the mining of silhmanite, the material exclusively used in the manufacture of "Champion’’ spark-plug insulators. This mineral is mined in the lofty mountains of Nevada and Niobe. packed to the hailhead over most difficult country. A number of European motor race pictures trere also shown. The lectures, which are of great educational value, will be continued every evening this week. Admission is free, and motorists are particularly invited.
