BROKEN BY-LAWS
OFFENDERS AJ MAGISTRATE’S COURT
Mr J. W. Salmon, S.M., presided at the Magistrate’s Court yesterday, when the following by-law wore dealt with:— For -speeding, the following fines were imposed: Charles Norman Keating £2, Cedric Glover Allen £2, James Arthur Ames £2, Edwin Charles Hill £l, Leonard Joseph Sanders £l, Clarence George Joslin £2. Leaving their cars unattended cost Alfred John Banks 10s, Bernard Albert Guise 10s, and John Stanley H. Watts £l.
011 each of four charges of using unregistered cars, the Magnus Motors, Ltd. were convicted and ordered to pay oosts 7s. For having no driver’s license Stephen Baker Jnr. was fined £l, William Parris 7s (costs only), Leonard Joseph Sanders £l. Employing persons without driver’s licenses cost Matthew Stratford £l, Philip Schneideman was fined £l for leaving his car mote than 12 inches from the kerb. Stephen Baker Jnr. was fined 10s, Harold W. Brown £l, Henry H. Cornish £l, Francis Morgan Laurenson 10s, Henry McMillan A. Major 10s, and Annie Stubbs IQs, for having no lights on their cars.
On charges of dangerous driving Albert Bottom was fined £5, SOloman Brickmau £2, Kenneth Douglas £5, Fart wick Hall £2,, William Phrris £l.
