METHODIST SUNDAY SCHOOL The 87th anniversary services were held in the King George Theatre on Sunday. A choir of 200 voices, accompanied by an orchestra, sang festival hymns under the leadership of Mr E. Dawson. The Rev. J. A. Lochore conducted the morning service, and -made an appeal to the young people. At 3 p.m. the Rev. E. S. Emmitt Was the preacher, speaking from the words: "What Manner of Child shall he Become," showing the necessity for a right and good example on the part of the parent. Crowds gathered in the theatre | at night, when the Rev. Wm. Rowe gave a short but effective address, his subject being "Staking one’s Life in the Cause of Goodness." The anniversary tea will be held to-day, followed by a public meeting and distribution of prizes.
