SENTENCE REDUCED
APPEAL TO SUPREME COURT. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, November 23. Mr Justice Alpers heard an appeal from the decision of Mr F. K. Hunt, S.M., in the case of William George Cavfenett, heard last September, when Cavenett w was . sentenced to two months’ imprisonment on one charge of theft and a month on a second charge. The magistrate’s ,decision on a set?ong charge was quashed. The case today concerned, tho sentence, of ' two months. His Honour reduced this sentence to one month.
