ENJOYABLE GAMES ("Times'* Correspondent). Four rinks from Wellington Centra visited Otaki on Wednesday, and indulged in games on an excellent' green prepared by Mr Tom Colca. Play throughout was of a pleasing nature, but the visitors proved superior on the aggregate, winning comfortably. Mr J, .J. Palmer, as supervisor, did fine work, while the ladies supplied an afternoon tea in their beat style. Tho results were as follow, Otaki be-» ine mentioned first in each case: Freeman, Baxter. Final—Otaki, S games, 110 points; Wellington, 5 games, 158 points. At the conclusion of play Mr Stone, president of the Wellington Centre, returned thanks on behalf of the visitors, who, he said, had enjoyed the outing very much, Mr Marks referred to the green, considering it was equal to any in Wellington. It was perfect for bowls, and players had no excuse.
