RUMANIA AGITATED
PLOT TO RESTORE CAROL SEVERAL ARRESTS MADE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received November 22, 8.15 p.m.) BUCHAREST, November 22. A plot aiming at restoration of Prince Carol led to the arrest of several of his political supporters.. The Government has ordered the dismissal of Carol’s adherents from the army. It is reported that detectives have been secretly sent to Paris to watch Carol, and that a special envoy will meet Queen Marie on her return from America. ' CAROL REMAINS IN ?ARIS (Received November 23, 8.15 p.m.) PARIS, November 22. Prince Carol is unmoved by the reports. ..Members of his party declare that he has no intention of going to Rumania. It is believed the return of the Queen will hasten a solution.
